<s:content>1 flash on pocketpc {anchor:flash on pocketpc}
I've ripped a couple of movies to watch on my {link:PPC-6800|http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/HTC-PPC6800-phone-c_211-p_2021.html} from sprint recently. The {link:TCPMP|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Core_Pocket_Media_Player} player works great with a lot of different a/v codecs.

A couple of good linux tools are {link:transcode|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcoding} and {link:mencoder|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mencoder} to encode a/v from and to various resolutions and codecs. There's a decent GUI called {link:Acidrip|http://untrepid.com/acidrip/} ( among others) which appears to work rather well.

Did you know Tivo has a {link:hiden web server|http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/2005/07/20/tivos-hidden-web-server/} built into it?

There is a {link:plugin|http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=196939} to TCPMP which lets it play flash files directly also. This saves re-encoding them from flash into other formats. Works great :)</s:content>
